Plaxico Burress - 2 years in jail for the NYC weapons violation, followed by 2 years of supervised probation. Another example of someone who had it all - money, fans, talent, fame - and threw it away by insisting on being stupid.

Maybe they could put all of the jailbirds and troublemakers on one team to make it easier for the parole officers to monitor them.

What a total waste of talent. He might be playing with Vick in a couple of years. The Giants are doing pretty good this year. The Dolphins, not. I haven't seen a team that looks dominate, so far. We didn't purchase the NFL package, so we only get 4 games a weekend. These cable companies sure have a good racket.

Eli Manning seems so much more calm this year. The Chargers are already a mess - lots of key injuries in the first game but then they always seem to be dysfunctional. They have no defense. Last Sunday the Ravens "averaged" 5 yards per carry against SD. Rivers will never see the Super Bowl. At least he got the big bucks in the latest contract.

How about that, Detroit finally won a game. I am so happy for them. Tampa Bay better watch out, they're heading for being the next Detroit, Tennessee too. There still doesn't seem to be a super strong team.

Our dream Super Bowl for 2010 would be our Colts against the Giants. Manning on Manning. So far it's looking good!

How about Eli's favorite receiver...Manningham. It's almost like the Giants said "we've got to sign him just because of the name".

The Chargers got lucky yesterday. Rivers had some huge passes but they still got in the red zone 3 times and had to settle for a kick. Plus when Pennington got injured it pretty much doomed the Dolphins.

That would be a fun game, Eli vs. Peyton. Eli's calmed down a lot, Peyton's still dancing. I don't know what the Chargers need, they have flashes of brilliance, then fade quickly.

The Chargers need an offensive line and a defense. It's a good thing Rivers has a quick release. The pocket collapses on him very fast. Their D simply is horrible. Yesterday Miami was averaging 5 yards per play until Pennington got hit.

Tomlinson is a has-been. They should have cut him loose after last year.

Lots of surprises this year. Steelers have issues. How embarrassing for them to get beat by the Bungles.

That Miami game was sad for the Dolfins. Make 3 losses in 3 games. It figures, I'm to the understanding the Super Bowl will be in Miami this year. You can count the Dolphins out at this rate. They would need a miracle.

I sure hope they're some good games this weekend. I'd like to see one with some good action, not fighting, but good playing.
