Jack, There is tongue in cheek reference to the prank called cow-tipping. This is based on the theory that cows sleep in the standing position and if one was to sneak upon a sleeping cow quietly, one could apply force to the side of the animal thereby "tipping" it over.

Fact: Cows in America as in UK sleep with their legs folded and somewhat on their side. It would take the force of 3 humans to actually tip a cow but odds are in the cow's favor. Applying unusual force to the side of a cow could result in a "mad cow" but I'll have you take it from there.

Somehow in my longer than I'd like abscences from the forum I missed the whole thread that started this board. I read every post with great interest and when I got to the end it was locked! I really wanted to add my perspective being relatively new but now considering myself one of the gang, hope others do as well.

Oh well, guess it's all resolved now. Very happy about that, didn't like the divisions in the ranks among posters. Heck I didn't even know there was a problem. I'll go back to my clueless existence and put my rose colored glasses back on.

Cheers, Neil
