Simplicity is good. I get a laugh out of how some places describe things. I remember staying at the Sheraton in Birmingham for a VFW convention. They just HAD to have an embellishment for everything on the room service menu. Under beverages, you could order a case of beer - of course at bar prices which made it around $100 for a case. As I recall, they built it up as "A case of beer. 24 cans of the finest American lager". The choices were Bud, Miller, or Coors.

Reminds me of my first few cruises and trying to translate the dinner menu. Heck, I still have problems sometimes, so I try to figure it out ahead of time.

And let's not forget the need to call raw veggies "crudites". "Yes waiter, I'll have the crew dites appetizer". "Yes sir, the crew-di-tays".

Geez... they could have at least had Sam Adams to make it a tad more believable.
