Default How about that stock market?
Hard to believe the ups and downs in the past couple of years! I still don't trust it. Just hope the inflation phase isn't growing in leaps and bounds.

It's been a roller coaster, hasn't it, Marsha. Inflation is pretty tame right now; but interest rates only have one way to go and when they do inflation will pick up. Equities will be the best hedge against rising prices.

I moved some funds to a couple of master limited partnerships for natural gas pipeline providers last fall. My broker was against it because I was moving money away from a fund that gave him a nice commission. Meanwhile, since the move that money has gained 15% and I am currently happy. Natural gas is a good place right now for investors. As many of you know I work in the electrical power distribution world, and natural gas powered electrical plants are really popular.

That sounds like a really good move, Dave; you really can't go wrong with natural resources and energy providers, other than "alternative" and "green" schemes.
