Pleased to know that there are some good places to see movies
comfortable seats & fantasic sound quality makes a big difference
Wouldn't want to pay $12 in the grotty cinemas mentioned by Dave ( earlier post )
Wouldn't pay $12 to watch " movie 43 " even in a luxury multiplex as it has aleady been named as one of the the worst films ever but you never know there's still time for an even worse film to arrive.

Just found out that Skyfall & Argo are being shown on the Ruby Princess on MUTS.

Does anyone remember Kojak ( with Telly Savalas ) ?

Universal are planning making a film version soon with Vin Diesel to play Kojak

Vin Diesel is one of the main stars in Fast & Furious 6 and there will also be a sequel next year.

I loved Kojak. Telly Savalas was a great actor. The series really caught the way things were in NY at that time.

well it's March 2014 and the Oscar award for best film was "12 years a slave"
other films nominated were American Hustle, Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club & Captain Phillips
Best animated feature film was " Frozen "
Has anyone watched any of the above, how would you rate them out of 10 ?

Of course new films about are Need for Speed, Captain America & Grand Budapest Hotel
Anyone got plans to watch a new film ?

I just heard the other day that movie ticket sales are tumbling due to redbox and net flicks.
There's talk of ticket prices dropping.

Just watched Frozen on my flight from Ireland. It was a pretty good movie.

I have only seen Cap Phillips and Gravity out of that list but I will say we sat and watched Cap Philips twice in a row one night and I could have done it a third time. We really enjoyed that movie and it kept you going every minute. Never knew how they used the water hoses or that they had that many or how Pirates get on board. Interested movie.
