Peter....The Royal ships I have sailed on, while not the current genre of newer and much larger ships, all had interior (some may have been restricted to Spa patrons)and exterior pools !!
Janfred.....We will be sailing out of San Juan aboard the Celebrity Summit into the Southern Caribbean!!! We are satisfied with the final resolution ...We monitor the various cruiselines and their sailings on a daily basis so "jumping" ship from the cancelled Carnival cruises was not the least bit of a problem!!

Oh we like the Summit, we have been on her 3 times. Most recently in June after she was Solterized ! I am not sure if you are a Foodie but we love to go to QZine for a fun dinner.
Enjoy, this is nice news! Glad this all work out for the two of you.

Janfred...This will be a B2B out of San Juan shortly after Our return from Europe and We are truly looking forward to it...We shall cover much of the "farther out" islands of the Eastern and Southern Caribbean particularly filling in the gaps of Karen's (My SO) knowledge and experiences and adds a few new places to My own life adventures....Surprisingly We are quite pleased the way things are working out.....it sure beats feeling bad about the loss of Our Carnival Splendor plans!!!

As an old soldier, sailor and airman...I " C" food...and I eat it!!! I have enjoyed dining on every ship I have ever sailed upon. Karen is much the same and is enamored over the Celebrity menus!!! When I sailed on Celebriy's predecessor Chandris...I do recall rather spectacular Dining!!! Then too...I ate well and had fun aboard the old Carnival Mardi Gras!!!
