We are all still waiting for the details of the deal to be spelled out. Yesterday it was still being reported as "rumors" in the Dallas paper but today it is being written as fact. But yet I still have not seen the "officail" report from the Cowboys. That should have the numbers in it.
Personally I never thought he was as great as he thought he was. Yes, he is talented. But he drops way to many passes for me. Jerry Rice didn't have that problem. If he could get most of a hand on the ball he caught it. TO drops balls that hit him square in the chest. But its not that fact that hurt the Cowboys, it was his attitude of "me me me" If they were not throwing him the ball every play, then he blamed the coaches and the team for the loss. That kind of self centered attitude is a cancer to the success of a team, which Mr Owens, consists of many people working together, not just one person. I say good riddance...

And so we learn that the Bills have decided to disrupt their team by signing T.O. I wonder if this qualifies the Bills general manager as "idiot of the day"?
Let's see... Most people pay to rid themselves from cancer. Buffalo pays $6.5 million to infect themselves. Definite "idiot of the day" hall of fame potential.

Buffalo fans won't have a lot of patience with his "all about me" attitude.
Wow!! Just for kicks and giggles, let's throw Michael Vick into the mix. It should be quite a "dogfight" between him and Ryan Fitzpatrick... (at least if Fitzpatrick is cut, he has a Harvard degree to fall back on)
I would say Vick has his Virginia Tech degree to fall back on, but then he didn't graduate. Pity, since he was taking the ever-so-challenging sociology curriculum. Curious choice for someone who exhibits such anti-social behavior.
Fitzpatrick's Harvard degree is in economics. Gee, I wonder who I'd hire?

I graduated college as a sociology major and psychology minor. I am a former psychiatric social worker. That makes me equipped to analyze comments like yours, and counsel you as to how not to make them again!
I was hoping I'd root out the sociology and psych majors with my comment. Anyone else?
Actually I have two family members with the same degrees as you. But you know us geeks. Nothing but math and the sciences matter to us. For perspective, we once received a Cf-252 (Californium) source which we needed for the start-up of one of our long-dormant reactors. We were all excited about it and poured over the reference materials. We set up a remote video feed so we could look at the source whenever we wanted. It was like Elvis had come for a visit. (Have I embarrassed myself sufficiently to get out of the dog house?).

Uh......no. Keep going.
OK Dave, you're off the hook. Since two of my three kids are major geeks (gee I hope they don't read this board!), I understand. Happily enough for all of us, my sociology major earned me a Bachelor of Science degree, rather than Bachelor of Arts. And I'm sure you can appreciate how my former profession helps with my current one!
My sister's husband has a masters in psychology. He never used it directly but instead has worked in sales all his life. He no doubt made more money using the education that way.
