Congratulations to the Canadians for making a great two weeks of joy, laughter, sportmanship.

It was truly a well organized event, considering the changing weather conditions. I really feel so empty now, wondering what to do when there are no more Olympic events to look forward to

It was the best winter olymics ever in my opinion. Congrats to Norway on the medal count. Well done. AND you beat the Swedes !

This was a great Olympics, and so many stories!

One story that made me emotional was the story of the mother of figure skater Joannie Rochette. Those of you that don't know, her mother passed away two days before she was supposed to skate her short program. Joannie made the decision to go ahead with competing, since that is what her mother would have wanted her to do. She was very emotional after the short program, which made me cry along with probably everyone in the arena, including the broadcasters.

She finished 3rd in the short program, and after a free skate with a couple minor mistakes, finished 3rd overall and won the bronze medal.

I had a great time watching the events, and think Canada was an awesome host. I did question a few of the judge's calls. I guess that is to be expected though with any sporting event of this magnitude.
