It rained at our house all day yesterday, it was raining when I left the house this morning (5 am), it will probably be raining when we get home tonight. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting a little tired of the rain. I know we need it, but we're way above average for the year, we're out of our draught situation from the past few years, so I'd really be happy if it would go somewhere like California for a while.
I'm sure you would, did that new fire get near you or Gary? I thought I read about a controlled burn in Arizona that went out of control, too. Have the winds been bad out there?
I sure hope a tornado or severe weather didn't come your way. I had to shut the windows and turn the AC back on yesterday. And now we are supposed to have a cold front move in as well after we have record highs today. I wish the weather would make up it's mind.
Crazy weather around most of the country this past spring, summer, and now fall..We had several tornados touch down here in New England this late summer and have been free so far from tropical storms and hurricanes thus far..Now talk of some snow in Maine coming up...Wow !
Again, it's raining. I drove through a horrible storm on my way to Birmingham, Friday night. We went to the Vintage Motorcycles at Barber Race Track. It rained all day Saturday and was a mud pit yesterday. I was too afraid to park my car out in the fields, so I parked up by the museum. I am glad there was a huge crowd on both days. Just wish the rain would go somewhere else. It's supposed to rain all week long, followed by colder weather this weekend. I'm praying that the two don't collide and turn to snow.
We had rain, rain, and more rain. It must have been the same mess that went through Alabama. It turned cold after the rain..I had to dig the sweatpants out. I am now wondering if I should invest in a half wet suit for snorkeling in the Bahamas.
