Ooh Rah to the Gunny!

The U.S. Marine Corps traces it's beginning to a resolution drawn up and approved at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, on November 10, 1775, calling for the establishment of two battalions of Continental Marines. Today is the 234th anniversary.

I was on active duty for the 200th birthday. That was quite a birthday ball.
