The vuvuzela horns. The fools are also permanently damaging their hearing as well as that of anyone in the stadium. ESPN says they are adjusting their sound range to mute it out as much as they can.

I'd like to relocate those horns to another physical location.

USA fights back

After being 2 goals down at half time against Slovenia the USA showed real character to come back and make the game a draw. I said in my first post that Landon Donovan was one of your best players and he showed his class with a great well taken goal & Michael Bradley equalised with 8 minutes to go.
Usa could have won the game but the referee ruled out a goal from M.Edu.
So Team USA keep their world cup hopes alive whilst England will be playing Algeria very soon.

Are you going to support your team tomorrow ?

Tomorrow is crunch time......USA play Algeria and must win to be sure of a qualifying place.
If you are American you can see your team play at 10am eastern time

England who played so badly in their last game ( no excuses they were rubbish )and were booed off the field by their fans must win if they are to go any further.

Unfortunately, work, that 4 letter word, comes into play. I hope they do well, the UK team, too.

Although I'm not a fan I have to admit I've watched some games. Certainly lots of drama, with England being booed and France self-destructing. Plus the questionable call which cost USA a victory. I fear for the North Korean team's well-being when they return home after that 7-0 drubbing they took.

We took Jacob to his orthodontist yesterday. Since it is in Madison, Alabama - the local definition for a soccer mom suburb - they had the World Cup playing on all the HD flat screens in their waiting room (yes, it is a huge dental practice!).

I read that. I am so impressed. Soccer is not a huge sport in this country. What's his name was supposed to have improved that, Beckett or something like that. At least we didn't go out in the first round.

England advanced too. They said this is the first time since 1930 that the USA has advanced beyond the first round.
