I just looked at the Red House commercial. To me it is quite good and I don't see how anyone is offended by it (although too many people sit around looking for chances to be offended), but apparently many were. The rebuttal commercial (with the guy at the kitchen table explaining it) was brilliant. I'll bet they got a lot of business from all of it. Heck, I'd buy furniture there if they were nearby. I like trading with places where they don't take things too seriously.

Glad you liked it! I have been trying to think of a "viral" theme for our new homes... Furniture stores don't have to deal with Dept of HUD like we would! LOL

Most all people from around here didn't have any objection to the commercial. It was a local topic of discussion this past summer. Most thought it was funny. Now if it would have been a Northerner/Southerner commercial it might have caused a stir.

Don't get me going about HUD. I've had my share of dealings with them over the years. I can recite the Fair Housing Act line by line.
