O.K.. for the 100th reply to this topic, I have to recount a recent trip to Home Depot. I was in the store to purchase a pump sprayer. There was a stack of electric pressure washers near the front door. It was hilarious to hear this young woman (perhaps 30-35 years old) speaking to her husband. I perked up when I heard the woman say, "Look... It's electric! That means that it doesn't use water." The amused (and very red-faced husband) looked at me and said, "At least she's a great cook."
I heard this morning on the news. A lady in Germany decided to jump into the water with polar bears at a zoo, during feeding time. They were able to pull her to safety, but you could see her being bitten on the way out. Polar bears will actually hunt down humans and kill them, yet this woman wanted to be in the water with them at feeding time. Not too bright to me.
Which one's the idiot in this scenario...
I just read that an 18 yr old, who was in his teacher's bedroom, was stabbed to death by her boyfriend.
The boyfriend was a former student!
I read this morning, a nurse was called out of surgery so she could receive her pink slip. I think they need to fire the manager that called her out of surgery.
The one about the nurse was disgusting. That manager is a genuine "Catbert" type human resources type. If I was the patient I'd be looking for some in-your-face time with that goon.
I'd be surprised if they didn't sue the jerk. I cannot imagine the nurse being able to go back and finish her job. I cannot imagine a nurse leaving surgery, period, but for that. It's absurd.
