I am soo looking foreward to my first cruise, and the description of the warm chocolate melting cake, that I looked up the recipe, If anyone wants it the closest recipe that fits the description was found on Hershey's web site. So if you are in
to baking, and can't wait for it look it up!

Take my advice people (from a chocolate melting cake expert) Make sure that you ask for TWO (2) scoops of ice cream when you order it. You'll see. It's easy to make at home. Here are the ingredients. If you want the full recipe let me know. Just invite over two thousand of your best friends. lol I actually have it broke down and have made it several times and it is almost identical to the Carnival creation without the ocean views.
MELTING CHOCOLATE CAKE:
80 lb Black chocolate
80 lb Butter
800 ea Eggs
50lb Sugar
30lb Flour

That cake is great. They also have another chocolate cake that is similar that is great also. I was getting that one at the desert station on the lido deck. They do not have it everyday.Tom

Okay!! That's IT!!! I have heard everyone druel over this cake..... I was on the Ecstasy and never even seen any chocolate cake on the menu...Is it served on every carnival ship? Is it on the main menu? Or just the midnight buffet???? Now I have got to know. lol

Sherri, it is always listed on the "alternative" menu. These are fixed items that do not change from night to night.
