At Home Agents for NCL

I heard that NCL hires home based agents to make reservations. What I heard is that essentially, when a travel agent calls NCL to book a cruise for their clients, the calls get re-routed to various agents, some of whom are working from home. I heard all you do is book the cruise (with the travel agent) and the travel agents take care of the rest, such as airline travel, transfers, etc.

Does anybody have any information about this and if it is available to Canadians?

NCL has been testing the program for probably a year now. They are reservation agents working for NCL. I believe the test market was in the Arizonia area. When a customer or Travel Agent calls the central reservation number they may, or may not, get routed to a home based agent. It would depend on the order of the call.
