Name for F3 first ship announced

NCL has announced the name for their 1st new F3 ship. The Norwegian Epic. The ship will hold 4,200 lower birth passengers. It will sail out of Miami doing alternating Eastern/Western itineraries. Eastern- St Thomas, St Maarten, and Nassau. Western-Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Roatan. For now it will not be stopping at the private island Great Stirrup Cay. The first sailing will be in the summer 2010. Mid March Travel Agents will be able to make group bookings.

Epic? I wonder if they will name the other ships Fable, Tale, and Myth?

I don't believe there will be other F3 ships. My understanding is that NCL has decided to take delivery of 1- F3 Class ship.

Norwegian Epic... sounds like a literature course I would have taken in college. I suppose it will take some getting used to.

From the images I've seen of the F3 the word "ugly" may be too charitable.

If you've had the chance to see the Bliss Lounge on the NCL Pearl, you would be able to understand the futuristic approach that only NCL enjoys on their ships. The F3 Class will be like nothing else cruising the oceans.

I can't comment on the New F3 ship with out seeing it, is there a site or link to see it.

These posts have me wondering now about booking on it to see how ugly it could be.
