Alaska on The Pearl

Hi, I'll be rooming on the 10th deck on the Pearl. What's the best deck for viewing, and dining?? Thanks..

gramjali - Try Deck 12 fwd- the Spinaker Lounge
Deck 13 aft - the Star Bar and/or Cagney's Steakhouse
Deck 14 fwd- the sundeck
Deck 15 fwd- the Freestyle Sundeck

I was just watching the Travel Channel and they just highlighted the Pearl and the Alaska cruise. Looked very nice; but cold.

Not always cold, just got back from there July 4th -- July 11 on the Star and it was 75 to 90 and very smooth seas, what a cruise that was.

I've been on 3 cruises to Alaska and will go again next year....I like the month of May the best....crisp and snow in the mountains...June was rainy, and September was like being in Minnesota with Mountains.....Anytime is a good time to be there....just bring clothes that you can layer...Have a great time..

We've been to Alaska twice - July and early September. Both times the weather was quite similar. As a previous post said, dress in layers and enjoy!
