I saw a news blurb that showed the Crown on a sand bar with tugs trying to pull her off. They said they were going to wait until high tide to float her off, but never heard the outcome. Anyone know?

The Crown was freed from the sandbar at high tide.

She ran aground while under the guidance of a local pilot in Bermuda. She was moving from St Georges to Hamilton. She was freed Wednesday night at 6:30pm.

Thanks for the link, richardpowerhouse - great pictures. Scary yet hilarious! It will be interesting to see how bad the damage is to the ship, though.
