Cruise Nightmares... literally!

We're cruising in 11 days and I dream about this cruise. Last night was about us boarding the ship only to find out there was a mix up in our cabin assignment. We have the guarantee for a JJ cabin - and in my dream the booked us for the MOST EXPENSIVE and biggest cabin they had. ONLY WE HAD TO PAY $4500 for 4 nights!!!!

(OK, the only nightmare part of this dream was shelling out that much money when we could have taken a larger ship/longer cruise.)

They wouldn't budge and give us what we already paid for. I'm so afraid to see the poor customer service I've read about. We're sailing on the Majesty and I just hope we have a good time!

Shelley - relax! You'll enjoy your cruise so much more if you don't allow the worries to get to you. I can't think of an instance where your nightmare happened - if you get upgraded, you do not have to pay extra! I have enjoyed all my cruises, whether service was excellent, good, average or even (in one instance) surly. If one crewmember isn't up to par, others will be. Enjoy the warm air, sea breezes, activities, shows, food, etc. Have a great time!
