Now that the bus service from other cities and non-local airports has been stopped - does anyone have an idea or advice of how to get to the port? We were planning to land and stay in Philadelphia a few days early and ride the ncl bus to the port, but that bus is now cancelled. We really dont want to stay in NY (not big city people) but cant imagine how to get to the port otherwise. Taxis arent our favorite choice either
THANKS

Take Amtrak from 30th Street Station.Plenty of trains go through Phila. You'll arrive at Penn Station, which is less then 20 blocks from the port.Take a taxi from the station and you'll be there in 15 minutes.

We were looking into the between-cities ncl bus (ie philly to nyc) but that service has been cancelled. We recently got reservations on the airport-to-the-port NCL bus so that seems to be still running. we too are on the dawn on the 20th and plan to ride from LGA to the dock on NCLs bus

we were on the dawn this january. took the taxi to the port, no problem because we were early.

ask the driver to stop a little bit before the port. If the driver take the ramp you have to wait a long time bumper to bumper.

If you're getting out of the ship, it will be horror, thousend people waiting for a taxi, go to the dispatcher at the waiting line, take the ticket and then go back inside (if it is could outside)

have fun

hi zza
Can't remeber the time. we exchanged our disembarktion time with the eraliest possible time, so we were early.
I don't know about the van, the dispatchter gave us a number for the taxi and then he called/screemed each number when the taxi arrived.
(but again, this was the taxi, not van transportation, sorry)
