Norwegian Pearl restaurants

Hi, I had heard someone say that the TexMex/Tapa Bar restaurant and also the Italian restaurant had a cover charge, but then I read on a review (from 2008) that there was no charge for those two restaurants but that you had to make reservations for them. Has anyone been on the Pearl recently that could let me know if there is a charge for them. Thanks.

You have to pay extra for both of those resturants. We did not go so I cannot comment of the food.

The charge for each is $10 per person. We had a superb dinner in the Italian restaurant on sister ship Norwegian Jade last month that was well worth it, IMO. Both places are small, so I'd suggest making a reservation even if it's not required. For the Italian restaurant, ask for a table by the window.
