How is the Fitness Center on the ship? Does it have a lot of equipment and does it have a steam or dry sauna?? Basically, what type of Fitness Center is it???? Will need to keep up the work out to work off all the extra food!
Thanks - |
Unfortunately, it is minimal. I work out every day. There is just enough to work out, but not enough to execute a minimal maintainence routine.
Hope that helps. Tom |
Tom,
Thanks, I guess a little is better than none at all. I was hoping they might have a sauna also. But maybe I just have to step out on to the ship to get the humididty. Thanks for the reply. |
Oooops, forgot to mention that there is a sauna right next to the gym. The gym is equipped with minimal machine, and free weights and there is a separate cardio area with treadmills, etc.

The Fitness Center on the Dream was fine. My 19 yr old son used it every day. He never had any problems getting on a cross trainer (they have those, treadmills and bikes - then Nautilaus type weihts in another room). They are small, but clean. They do have exercise classes offered and a jogging track on Deck 7. My son lost 3-4 lbs on the cruise - unbelievable. But I think the rest of us put on a few #'s too many. Enjoy! http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif
