Image 24 of 399 shows the electronic dining RESTAURANT SEATING GUIDE that will be on the NCL Gem. If you follow these guides you should have no problem. The seating guide shown in the photo is from our NCL Pearl cruise. It is the same on NCL Gem.
I am not sure how to add photos, tried to follow directions given but the photo may not appear here. Cruise-chat needs to make it easier to post photos.
Cortney - As Richard & Mary have recommended- Le Bistro, the NCL signature restaurant is a "must do" dining experience on the Gem. The $15/pp specialty dining charge is an absolute bargain for the meal received.
Your slide show was incredible. I thought I'd just check the slide specific to this topic and wound up almost being late for a dinner engagement. Because I couldn’t stop!
Of course now I'm checking prices and itineraries for Alaska. We've wanted to go there for a long time. That may just be our next one (after the one coming in a few weeks).
I apologize that this is off this topic but I wondered what month you went.
Thanks for the compliments of the slide show on the NCL Pearl to Alaska.
You only saw the first half......you may want to view the #2 slideshow of the NCL Pearl to Alaska ...Glacier Bay and the private tour of the bridge. We spent 2 1/2 hours with the captain and the pilot in Glacier bay. It was a real thrill to be invited unto the bridge.
We did Alaska early in the year...May 20th, when we could be guaranteed lots of snow, icebergs in Glacier bay and lots of snow capped mountains. I would do Alaska again on the Pearl in a heartbeat. What was especially nice about our Alaska cruise on NCL was we left from Seattle and returned to Seattle. It was fantastic.
Cortney - Yes, room service on all NCL ships is without charge, however, it would be appropriate to tip the waiter/waitress who delvers to your stateroom just the same as if you were in a fine hotel or resort. Normally, for a small order I suggest tip $2-more if you order a lot (use your discretion).
