what is the earliest you can arrive at the dock and check-in? Our ship leaves at 4 pm. would like to arrive by noon. will we be allowed to board?

You should be able to check aboard around noon when the ship is scheduled to depart at 4 pm.

The time for boarding should be on your ticket, getting to the dock early will only mean that you will be outside waiting for them to open the door. If boarding starts at 1pm, NCL will not open the doors until 1pm or later.

Port of Miami is a large terminal. NCL will let you in and you can get get your check-in papers, boarding card etc, but you will have to wait inside in a controled area, waiting to board the ship thru security check-in. The waiting is nice and comfortable. Once they are ready to board, all passengers are lined up, and on the ship you go. Latitudes members have priorty boarding.
