If there are 10 restaurants advertised on an NCL ship, do many of them charge additional cost to eat there? I expect alcohol drinks to cost additional, but does the food too?
on NCL it's a bit complicated. There are fixed "cover charges" for some restaurants, with some selected items still being extra beyond that (those are charged a la carte), while in other restaurants, the surcharge you pay fully depends on what you plan to eat. Some of the alternative restaurants are included, on the other hand.

Just curious, any of the restaurants have entertainment?
Some do have entertainment. For example, Henry's Pub on the Spirit, and the Tapas Bar on the Sun have entertainment after dinner. One isn't required to eat to sit and enjoy the entertainers.
But, they're more bars/lounges than they are restaurants. The main or traditional style restaurants don't have entertainment.
