Sky Deck Plans

Considering cruising on the Sky in January and looking at a room on Biscayne Deck (4). It seems to be the lowest passenger deck. Has anyone out there ever sailed on this deck before? Since you can't tell what is under it, I was wondering if it is noisy (is it over engines, crew quarters, etc...)

If I remember correctly, the dining room was aft on deck 4 and 5. We sailed on her and had a great cruise. The ship was beautiful, clean, friendly crew, good food, great sticky buns! Just perfect for a short get away. Hope this helps.

Yes, I believe the dining room is on deck 4. Just wonder if there is an engine located right below my room choice...that would be bad. We are traveling with a baby (1 year old), and lots of noise keeping her awake would make for a miserable vacation

I don't think it would be below your room as the crew quarters and other areas are still below the passenger decks. Hopefully, Cruise Fanatic will see this, I believe she has the ship layouts for every ship. LisaP, has sailed on most of the NCL ships, too.

I sailed on the Sky, and think I was on deck 6, but am not sure. Guess I need to dig out my information.

We were on deck 10 on the Epic and did the behind the scenes tour. On deck 2 and 3, they had the laundry, the walk-in freezers and coolers for different types of food, the bakery, then deck 4 was the galley. On deck 2 they had the garbage machines, and there were still more decks below before the engines.
