We are sailing to the Western Carribbean on Mar. 11, 2006. This will be our first time on a cruise. I'm travelling with family and an 8 month old baby boy. Any suggestions for travelling with a baby and feedback about this cruise line?

It's been a while since we've been on NCL, but I really enjoyed the line. They had a dive-in program that was great. We were the first ones off the ships and on our way to some great dives, hope they still have that program. The staff was excellent, the ships were fun. Never cruised with children, but all lines have programs for kids. I'm not sure about infants, however, they probably have help. Enjoy your cruise.

Infants less than 2 years of age aren't permitted in the Kids Crew programs on NCL ships.
So basically, there's little to no help with babies.
Here's the NCL web page for the Kids Crew program. It will be a good idea to take the time to read it.

Thanks Ron! I emailed the link to my nieces and nephew and they can't wait to go on the cruise! They're very excited about the teenage "parties".

Hi,

We just got back from cruising with the NCL Sun and had an amazing time! The service on the ship was impeccable. We would definitely cruise with NCL again. I'm already planning on our next cruise with NCl!! You can say that I'm hooked on cruises! It's great for travelling with yound infants because if they're cranky or not feeling well, you can always head back to your stateroom.
Now I know why so many people like to go on cruises!
