Charleston to Bermuda on Majesty question

We're thinking about taking the Bermuda cruise out of Charleston, SC during Oct or Nov. Has anyone been on this cruise before? What is the weather like? Is it beach weather in the fall? I dont want to take the cruise and not be able to enjoy the beaches and water. Thanks for any information you can give me!!!

I have sailed out of Charelston on the Majesty twice in early part of December and on the Carnival Triumph in October. The weather in Charleston is strange, it could be a cool and early winter or it could be warm. When we went on the Triumph in October it was just a bit cool leaving out but we were doing the Bahamas and leaving in December we did not get warm weather until we were down around Florida.

As far as Bermuda, I guess it would depend on what the yearly average temperatures are. Since Bermuda is straight east of North Carolina I would guess that the temperatures would be a bit on the cool side.

Maybe somone else that has been to Bermuda during this time of year can tell you what the weather is like, but as far as Charleston its a crap shoot as to what its like.

Bermuda is 777 miles due East of Charleston, sitting astride the Gulf Stream. It should be warmer than Charleston.

As you can see, the average temperatures in Bermuda are usually warmer, with the exception of the summer months. I don't consider the yearly low of 51 degress cold.

Thanks for the replies! I've lived in Charleston so I know it's chilly in Oct/Nov. I just didn't know what Bermuda would be like. So I guess you don't really get to enjoy the pool on the sea days. I wonder why they choose those months to leave from Charleston?
