going on a cruise feb 6 for 9 days on ncl jewel. does anyone know if we are able to upgrade our room when we get on the ship if there are rooms available?? right now we have a window but looking to upgrade to balcony, my travel agent wants $500 per person more. he suggests a wait till we get on the ship and then ask if they have any rooms. would love your input if anyone knows any tricks of the trade. thanks

You might, if space is available. Give it one more shot with your TA just before leaving, we did it from inside to BB balcony for a total of $350.00. If not check into it as soon as you get on board.
