Just got back from the Dawn

the only time we use royal caribean is if we go to the bahamas, we love coca cay their private island because their prices get higher to go anywhere else, We love carnival but we like Royal too

tim c - I felt sad when I read of your unpleasant experiences on the NCL Dawn, moreso because she has become one of our favorite cruiseships. I guess every once in awhile there is an unpleasant cruise. (I have never really had a bad cruise in over 55 years of sailing!) Still, it can and apparently does happen - on all cruiselines from time to time!

This does not mean that you should give up cruising or lose touch with us here at cruise-chat. There are many other cruise opportunities out there for you to enjoy-including future NCL cruises.

The best cure for such a cruise is to keep on cruising and to stay in touch with us! We are, after all, shipmates-and we need to hear of both the good and the not so good!

Cruising remains for us-the best of all worlds- Keep at it -It will become so for you too!

Could you define what sloppy and lazy food is? I'm a bit perplexed with that one.

Lazy means, not vety good in taste and not prepared well example alot of the food was over cooked and just seem thrown together with the attitude of they will eat what ever we give them,things are not placed in the right category or order examaple if you want salad you first get in line you are where the toppings are you have to go down the line.get your salad,work your way back up stream to get your dressings and toppings.example you get a burgar,you see everyone has onion rings you have to go on the other side of the ship,by the pizzza!!!!! to get onion rings?. they should be beside each other. thats ok today i booked on a real ctuiseline CARNIVAL.

Glad to hear you booked another cruise. Hope Carnival is better for you. We've always enjoyed Carnival, but I really enjoyed the NCL Sky, too. Princess is our favorite, so far, but I've really never been on a bad cruise. I hope this next one turns out fantastic!

tim c. - Congratulations on your new cruise booking! The only cure known to mankind for the " cruise blues " is to book another cruise (Especially to bury at sea the less than happy memories!)!
