Several days ago I booked a cruise with an online travel agency instead of going with NCL as I had done before. I'm already regretting the decision, the travel agent has been closed almost every time I have called and when I did get through, I had to leave a message with somone to have a customer service rep call me back.
Is there a way to transfer my booking to NCL? If so, will I lose OBC, price, etc.?
Thanks!

Did you provide a credit card for any downpayment?
At this point I wouldn't worry about on board credits or price protection. You may want to be more concerned that your cruise travel plans go smoothly.
From the information you provided, I would be concerned.
If you didn't pay anything down via a credit card......just call an NCL TS and they can provide booking, pricing, on board credits.
If you need premium assistance from an NCL Travel Specialist....we can provide a direct link for you. Just send us a PM and we can provide you with our #1 contact from NCL.
I didn't mean to imply that the online TA was "shady" it's just that they aren't open when I am up and able to call (I work a graveyard shift) and they are so busy that they field calls before referring the messages to customer service reps. They are a major online TA.

We remind Members that sharing the name of one's personal travel agent is not permitted. It is considered a form of solicitation under our Forum Rules.
Back to the original question: To Jai - Transferring a booking is not all that uncommon. That said, I don't know the ins and outs of how credits and such are handled. As you have booked through NCL before, you might want to call the person with whom you already have a relationship (presuming you were satisfied with him/her), and ask about your specific circumstance.

I'm missing something here. Richard sent a PM to Jai. No names were exchanged in the public forum so how can that be against the rules? Do administrators read private messages between posters on Cruise Chat?
The Forum rules apply to Private Messages also, as they are part of the Forum platform.
Now, so that this thread does not veer off into the unrelated and disruptive topic of message board management, let's continue with the original question.
I, for one, would like to know how Jai made out with NCL.

Jai did not ask for a name of a person for booking her cruise. It was solicited to her. It is against the Forum Rules period.
It is not up for debate, and I don't want to see another public post questioning any staff member's actions on this forum. If someone has a question, ask it in private, and we'll be glad to explain it.

If so is there a way to transfer a booking from NCL to a TA?
Will this have to be done before or after final payment?
We have not had any problems with bookings with TA's or NCL. Did have a problem with online booking once, the little Nome wouldn't come across with what he offered, so no more online bookings for me.
