I know some of the rooms on the Norway deck are considered obstucted. Anyone ever had any of these and if so is it full or partial? ANy help is appreciated

Many cabins are obstructed on Deck 9 -- most are partial, but range from about 5% to 80%. The obstructions are due to lifeboats, so you will still get some light. Are you looking at the suites or outside cabins? I have a list of obstruction percentage of the suites, but could probably get my hands on the status of other cabins. We recently stayed on this deck, and previously stayed in a fully obstructed cabin one deck below.

thanks for the info we have room 957, we booked as a guaranteed outside so we did not choose. ANy idea what to look foward is appreciated we are sailing on 9/17.

According to NCL, Norwegian Majesty cabin 957 is 108 square feet with a 60% obstructed view. We've had a cabin of the same size but with a fully obstructed view, and it wasn't so bad. The cabin is laid out well, and light still came through, even with a 100% obstruction. With one of 60%, you'll either be between two lifeboats or mostly above one.

We recently returned from the same ship and itinerary, and it was fabulous.
