Sailing on the Jewel in March out of Miami and being our first cruise was wondering if we need any health documents.Ports include San Juan, St. Johns,Antigua and St.Thomas. Thanks for any help.

I'm not quite sure if I understand your question. But if your asking about shots to go to any of these islands you don't need anything.

You do need valid passports, however. If you don't have them yet, apply for them NOW. Your local post office will probably have the applications and may even take the required pictures.

While not required, I usually carry my immunization record with me just in case. If there were a breakout of something like measles or hepatitis, and you have had shots, you wouldn't have to be quarantined or held while you scraped up documentation. I just keep it with my passport.

Thanks for the info, we do have our passports just wondered about the immunization records.

They have changed the date for the passports, but good to have anyway. If you have any current medical conditions that may require assistance from the medical staff, NCL does ask that you inform them, and they do have the right to deny your travel. My mom had a stroke a month before our cruise, they would not let her travel without a note from her doctor. Which is a good thing! Have fun and enjoy.
