Telephone numbers included, someone please call them and make sure they post all documents, images, and related media publicly...

Also says 4000 feet, consistant with prior locations. (not 4km)

Hi

I'm awaiting the court's verdict. Fingers crossed that the court is capable of making a verdict either way. This state of limbo is not desirable.

The Blue Lady needs saving; she has the significance to justify preservation. The last French Line transat., the last flurry of French national pride, the catalyst to today's cruise industry, an important piece of maritime architecture and history.

O.K. - it's almost 10pm in Delhi. Any word out there on whether the hearing was actually held there today? Or did the court yet again push it back?

10 days until they prove everyone can be bought... the research foundation is unnamed and may not yet exist.

We'll see how obvious the corruption and undermining is.

I doubt the Supreme Court will ever make a "final" decision... the "final" decision will come about in the "Court of (Scrappers) Public Opinion".

There is only one way that the SS Norway will ever leave India: Someone will have to buy her from the scrappers for an insane amount of money, as the vessel will not be sold at or near scrap value by Mr. Metha.

But we'll see what happens.

But the recess is only any good if somebody is serious about buying the ship. There is little evidence of that

Your link also talks about smoke detectors. Smoke detectors can be reused. The Americium is also within a shield, and poses no risks what-so-ever with normal use. More than 75% of the homes in America have smoke detectors.

The detectors can just be unplugged from the base whole, there's no need to destroy them.

Recycling is much better. I find it hard to believe there are no fire detectors in India, or than they contain Americium.
