I really do think that NCL has the best buffet setup I've seen. This will be my seventh cruise overall, third in a row on NCL. On RCCL Explorer, the buffet was a mess, there were never any seats and the food was cold half the time. I adored the buffet on both NCL Gem and Spirit. Good stuff...

I preferred the food in the MDR on NCL as well as the buffets. BUT, food is very subjective and what I like, someone else may not. Celebrity is more formal, but that does not mean the NCL is not a great value. It has a different style of cruising, and I think they do a very good job with their product. I can't wait to get on board the Epic. She'll be my 5th NCL ship.
I am on the Celebrity Infinity right now. The selection in the buffet area is excellent. You have to walk around the whole area from front to back to see all the different selections. There is a lot of variety to meet all taste. The food has been excellent and service is top notch. The ship is also looking great for it's age. Escargot available every night now. Tonight is lobster night.
Cruise Fanatic,
So glad to hear you like the Infinity. Glad to hear service is top notch and food in the buffet is great. Infinity is our next one in Jan to So A. I liked the casual dinning they set up in the Buffet area at night with menu and table clothes etc. It was so quite the night we tried it for a $2 cover charge. We will do it again, very peaceful with only a few couples. You do need to make a reservation. Tell us more about the shows etc thanks
