Mandatory Tipping

An article in the March issue of Budget Travel said that NCL had resinded its 10.00 dollar per person per day mandatory gratuity. I wonder if it was due to customer complaints or due to poor service? The article did not say why.

We just got back from an NCL trip. The $10 p/p p/d was on our bill. We had excellent service.

I believe they rescinded it in Hawaii, did the article say it was fleet wide?

I also understand they temporarily rescinded the service charge on "Pride of Aloha" due to the "service problems" they have been having onboard. I was under the impression that the charge has already been back for quite some time on that ship, as well, however.

The article did not say what ships were involved. I thought that after reading that it was all of thier ships. Maybe not!
