Star Cruise to Mexico

Hi I am going on my first cruise in a few weeks. The itinerary states that we only have from 7asm to 2pm in Zihuatenejo. I want to take the water taxi to Las Gatas to snorkel and then have some time to shop and walk around the town. Will I have enough time? Any tricks to get on the first few tenders? How much time do we actually have on shore? Thanks.

Sorry, I don't understand the choices.
They aren't either/or choices.

You will be off the ship by 7:30 and the last tender back will be 1:30; that should be time enough to do everything you want.

You will not have enough time to do two excursions.

Hi Thanks for the response. I just wanted to know whether we would have time to go to Las Gatas beach (short water taxi ride) and then do some shopping in the town? I am concerned because the time is so short. I am not planning to do a formal excursion!

You have roughly 6 hours. That should be plenty to snorkel and have time to explore the town--it's not that big.
Just be sure you are at the dock in plenty of time to get the last tender.
