Third fired on the Epic

What's happening on the Epic...sounds as if someone doesn't want it to set sail...Third fire now....But NCL does say that it will sail on time....

Yes, three fires so far. The obvious suspect would be a shipyard worker or workers, perhaps fearing their jobs will go away when the ship leaves. STX Finland laid off hundreds when the Oasis left.

I think you have a good point, Penny. I have from my time at sea observed very poor smoking habits on the ship yards. I was in Spain with an LPG tanker and some welding work were stopped due to suspected gas leaks. The first thing the welders did after they were told to stop was to lit up a cigarette...
