Can anybody tell me if NCL operate a shuttle from the port at Civitavecchia to the railway station in the town. From my last visit (with Costa) I seem to remember the port was a good distance from Civitavecchia. We would like to take the train into Rome this time. Arriving on 17th Feb 2009.

Hi!
As far as i know there is a free shuttle service operated by the port of civitavecchia, and not by the cruise lines. They drop you off at the port entrance, which is appr. 10 minutes walk from the station. Its very easy to handle.

Hope I'm not too late, to my recollection (and help me im not 100% sure) but the rail station isnt far from the port. I'm not 100% sure on shuttle services to/from but I would advise you to ask the Shore Excursions people and they will be able to help you!

The train ride into Rome is beautiful and only around 2 hours! Just hope the air conditioning is working! LOL!
