On-board credit

Hi. My husband and I are booked on the Norwegian Star to cruise the inland passage to Alaska on 9/13/08.

Our travel agent gave us $250 onboard credit, but I don't see it listed anywhere on our documents or other info she sent to us.

Is onboard credit usually on your e-docs?

No, it won't be on your e-docs. It is not unusually for onboard credit not to be on any documentation. Check when you get onboard at the pursers desk.

eyeblazy-It is a good idea if your travel agent will give to you a statement in writing for you to present the purser-just in case the cruiseline claims lack of knowledge. Our experience with onboard crdits has always been good. It usually will appear on your shipboard account a few days into the cruise. The Purser, if advised of it early in the cruise, will invariably look into it and advise you accordingly. We have always gotten our credits with relatively few problems covering over 50 years of cruising! Any documentation you carry with you regarding this is invaluable should a problem arise.
