Sorry for the delay in replying, Billy. She's going to be here in December, doing a couple of one- and two-night cruises. (Although I can't go. ) I am so excited for you, as you are going in January.
I'm having trouble with the link above--but got this one to work.
Lisa-Thank You for your cheery thoughts! We booked early in December 05 while we were aboard the Dawn-It has been an exciting year contemplating cruising during her inaugural season. Increasingly we are appreciating the NCL offerings out of NYC-they are more than compensating for the increases in our travel costs to/from other departure cities. Most importantly - the cruise offerings seem to increasingly match our cruise needs - flying seems to be becoming more and more of a hassle these days!
Cruisehappy-We can't wait to read your cruise review! The Gem is an exciting ship and she offers many great amenities! I can't help but wonder what the new larger class of ships will be offering when they debut in a few years!
I'm very excited for you too, Cruisehappy! That's the cruise we were thinking of booking, but it gets back on a Monday, and my husband can't miss work. Maybe I'll head down to the pier on Saturday to see you off.
Cruisehappy, I'll be getting on as you're getting off. I'm doing the little 2 nighter the 18th to 20th. Just a chance to see the new ship and spend a little time in NY before the cruise.
