How soon to book?

The people on Cruise-chat are so helpful. I am considering cruising next August. I do not really want the last cabin. Do the ships book up before December? Which cabins fill first? I am considering NCL.

If you are looking at Alaska (based on your other post), then I would book now. Alaska is a short season and the ships fill up fast. Balcony cabins are the first to go.

basically if you know you want to go and you know the exact dates and cruise line, go ahead and book.
and, yes, alaska definitely fills up very fast.
