Making the most of NCL America

Does anyone have some good tips on getting food service quicker? I have bad feet and don't want to stand in a long line to eat. Maybe the time of day would help?? This will be our first cruise on POA and would like to try and have a good experience, if possible...

Find a nice restaurant off the ship. I know, I know, the food onboard is included. Just remember you heard it here when you get a little frustrated. It's not just the waiting but the service that presents an issue. NCLA has a long way to go. At least you know it going in. It's the first conversation I have with anyone calling about these sailings. On the up side there is no more affordable way to see the islands. Proper expectations are everything. Have a great trip.

Am I mis-remembering when I think I heard that you can make arrangements for same time - same table in the dining rooms ?????

susan, NCL is freestyle. You show up and are seated as space is available. Not an issue with most ships but the U.S. flagged ships in Hawaii, things are sometimes, um... a little different.

Yes you can, but at the time of their choosing, not necessarily yours. Just chat with the maitre d' to arrange it. At least you will not be standing in long lines.
