Can anyone tell me what the approximate size is of the safe in the Staterooms? Big enough to accommodate a laptop? Thank you.

Larger safes are available but I've never seen them on cruise ships. They don't want to retrofit I guess. Welcome to cruise-chat. |
Hi JCS, welcome to Cruise-Chat. We have taken our laptop many times. We have even left it set up on the dresser and have never had any problems. I can almost guarantee if you put it in its case and put it under the bed or in the closet or dresser, nothing will happen to it. Best wishes, and once again, welcome aboard!

I'm always complaining about how small those safes are. I can't seem to be able to stuff all my casino winnings into them. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif

Hi JCS; this is a Princess ship, but cabin safes are pretty much the same all around. As Penny said, you really don't have to worry about your belongings. I wouldn't tempt fate by leaving cash, passports or expensive jewelry laying around; but cameras, electronics, things like that, I've never had a problem in 30+ years of cruising.

Wow, thank you! I thought twice about sharing my boxers with the whole world.

I've left cash out on the counter and when I returned, it was all in little piles all neat and clean...I've never ever had anything taken from our cabin in 21 cruises.....To me, a ship is safer than your own neighborhood....Have a smashing good cruise and don't worry.....or better yet, leave the laptop at home and relax....

Bob, I'm glad you have had good luck leaving cash out; I'm not sure I'm ready to go quite that far http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif
