Okay, I'm going on my first cruise and have reading about room service delivering coffee and breakfast. Is this service and the food included in the cost or extra? I know certain drinks are extra and eating at certain places (on the Wind).

Hi bespeck,
Welcome to the site. Yes, room service is included in the cost of your cruise. It is, however, customary to tip the person who brings you room service a $1 or $2 as a courtesy.
Here is a great hint. When you first order room service, tip the person serving you $5. You won't believe how quickly they will respond from that time forward.
Tom is right – giving them a larger-than-normal tip the first time they bring you room service will improve your waiting time next time. And if you are thinking of having breakfast brought to your room every day then on the first morning tip them more than a dollar or two – by the end of the cruise if you want a little more than they have on the standard ‘continental breakfast’ menu they are usually happy to accommodate your wishes.
