---------------S/S Norway Media Statement
May 26, 2002 - Yesterday, at approximately 6:30 a.m. while the S/S
Norway was at the Port of Miami returning from an Eastern Caribbean
cruise; there was an incident in the engine room involving one of the
boilers. We are deeply saddened to report the death of four
crewmembers. Thirteen crewmembers have been taken to local hospitals.

All 2,135 passengers were safely disembarked. No passengers were
injured in the incident.

As a result, the May 25th cruise was cancelled. Passengers have been
offered compensation packages of a full refund and a future cruise-

with their return travel arrangements.
