Help! Aruba

husband and I leaving on Jewel. Been to Aruba not our favorite place and the escursions are not anything we are interested. We want to find a nice hotel with pool and beach access for the day. We are willing to pay-but can't find any hotel who will even talk to us. Anyone have any thoughts our suggestions?

Stay on the ship and have a GREAT lunch:-)...

That's what I plan on doing next time.....

Abass, just grab a cab and go over to Palm Beach. There are some hotels there, the Rui is one of them, can't remember the others. You really don't need them, though. There's a pier with a bar/restaurant, a really nice beach, water toys for rent, chairs/umbrellas for rent. I think the cab ride over was around $20-25. When you're ready to leave, just walk up to one of the hotels and there will be cabs to take you back. It was a good way to spend the day.
