Left lugguage at Port

We are taking the Norwegien Gem from Barcelona and have a couple of hours to spend before embarkation. I understand the Port is quite near the city centre. Is is possible to leave our lugguage at the Port and wander around the city? If not, what about other places to leave them? Also, what time will the ship allow passengers to board?

Hi David Law, welcome to Cruise-Chat. I would board the ship before wandering around. You should be able to board around 11:30-12:00, however, your cabin may not be ready until 1:30. I don't think I would leave my luggage anywhere in a foreign country. SonnyV just got back, so he may know of a secure area. I still think your best bet would be to board, stow your luggage in your cabin, then wander around. Depending on when you sail. If you sail at 5pm, you may not have enough time to wander and get back to the ship by 4. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise and once again, welcome aboard!
