Yes, GMAN, we will be on that cruise and unfortunately our travel agent just informed us that we've had an itinerary change. Something is wrong with the ship and we will not be able to hit all the ports!!! They've given a lousy $100.00 credit to each room. We're not happy as Acapulco was one of the ports removed and that is where we wanted to go!!! We're in cabin 11630.

That's news... We're on that cruise as well (Cabin 10036). What is the change in itinerary?

I noticed in another thread that you're bringing your college age kids. We are too, we have an 18, soon to be 19, year old son.

Thanks for the info. Thats not so bad as I originally thought. At least we're still going to 4 ports. I'll have to do some more research now, though!

Hello, we are sailing on The Star Dec. 11th and we are really upset about the itinery change! Acapulco was the number 1 reason we booked this cruise! At least your travel agent informed you about it, we learned about it on cruise chat. Ours didn't even know about it.
We called NCL about the whole situation and their reply was "You should be happy, we don't even have to give you the $100 credit" Now that is great customer service for you.

It's true, they don't have to, but they will.

Besides, many cruisers have reported that Acapulco is a very dirty city, and the street lurchers on the streets are hard to avoid.

Mazalatan is a much better port for those on vacations. I hope you have even a better vacation.

does anyone know if this onboard credit can be used for the mandatory "tip" they will be charging to our onboard accounts? from one of the posts above, it says it can't be used for the casino or service charges, but is this for sure? i tried calling the 800 number but it says mailbox full.

any other young couples going on the Dec 3 cruise?
