Balcony staterooms on NCL Star???

We are heading out on our first cruise soon and yesterday I was doing a little research....and to my dismay I read somewhere that the balcony that we chose to pay extra for may be "glassed in"??? Is this true???

If so I may as well downgrade to the cheapest inside cabin!!!

Any and all info will be greatly appreciated!

You evidently have not stayed in an inside cabin. I don't know about your particular cabin, but I've never had a balcony that was glassed in. Balcony cabins are fantastic, but if you're going to downgrade at least get an oceanview. With an inside cabin you can't tell if it's day or night, it's always dark. I wouldn't suggest downgrading, but that's up to you.
